GougeHub is a community platform where pilot applicants share first-hand accounts of FAA practical tests (checkrides) organized by Designated Pilot Examiner. The platform's purpose is checkride preparation through peer experience sharing.
GougeHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FAA, any FSDO, or any Designated Pilot Examiner.
GougeHub is a provider of an interactive computer service as defined by 47 U.S.C. § 230 and is not the publisher or speaker of any user-submitted content.
By submitting a report or any other content to GougeHub, you grant GougeHub a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, store, modify, display, and share that content as part of the platform's services.
You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your submission does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
You retain ownership of content you submit. The license granted here does not transfer ownership.
Submissions must reflect genuine first-hand checkride experience. The following are prohibited:
GougeHub reserves the right to remove any submission that violates these terms without notice.
All submitted content is reviewed before publication. Approval does not constitute endorsement of the accuracy or completeness of any individual report. See the Data Methodology page for the full editorial standard.
GougeHub is provided as-is without warranty of any kind. Information on this platform is provided for general preparation purposes only and does not constitute aviation safety advice, legal advice, or any official determination about a DPE's conduct or standing.

Account information is used to manage access, award credits, and send transactional emails related to your submissions and checkride preparation. Email addresses are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Behavioral analytics (session data, page interactions) are collected via Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to improve the platform.
GougeHub may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
